About

PR, Communications and Investor Relations Executive of the Year, American Business Awards

As a strategic communications executive, I bring 14 years of experience working with top business leaders across industries, taking startups to IPO and legacy organizations to new heights.

I specialize in helping bold and ambitious companies build their reputation, establish trust, and gain recognition through robust public relations and communications programs.

In addition to my PR practice, I co-founded All We Have Is Now (AWHIN, Inc.), an insurgent business transformation and innovation consultancy, and Interesting Speakers, a startup that connects event organizers with remarkable talent in the U.S. and around the world. Both initiatives were developed in collaboration with Tom Goodwin.

Previously, I served as the head of public relations for W magazine at Condé Nast. During my tenure, I was named Communications, Public Relations and Investor Relations Executive of the Year in the highly competitive American Business Awards, winning the Gold Medal in 2016. I’ve also had the honor of being recognized as PR Professional of the Year in the PR News Platinum PR Awards and as one of Folio’s Top Women in Media.

Under my leadership, W tripled the amount of publicity it garnered through its content, video series, partnerships, and events, from its Golden Globes activation to New York Fashion Week and Art Basel. The efforts I spearheaded consistently earned coverage in hundreds of media outlets such as The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, Associated Press, Reuters, TIME, New York Magazine, The Hollywood Reporter, Variety, Business of Fashion, as well as the Today Show, Entertainment Tonight, Good Morning America, and The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon. As a result, the brand received numerous accolades, including coveted spots on Adweek’s Hot List and Ad Age’s A-List, which noted W’s status as a challenger brand with an “aura of digital cool.”

Prior to that, I handled communications for some of the biggest consumer and lifestyle media brands in the world, at Hearst. Throughout my work in the media and publishing world, I’ve developed partnerships with a variety of companies in the retail, luxury fashion and hospitality, entertainment, and technology space.

As a PR practitioner, I’ve counseled visionary C-suite executives and startup founders in the biotech, pharma, healthcare tech, finance, and marketing industries, and developed and executed high-impact earned media and thought leadership programs. From a talent management perspective, I work with a select group of authors and business leaders on public appearances and speaking engagements.

In addition to my consulting projects, I’m the co-host of Interesting People in Interesting Times, an event series held at Soho House with an accompanying podcast. The series brings together provocative thinkers at the intersection of culture, technology and society, and has featured Facebook co-founder Chris Hughes, presidential candidate Andrew Yang, The Atlantic’s Derek Thompson, pianist and algorithmic improvisation pioneer Dan Tepfer, and authors Scott Galloway, Maria Konnikova, Jaron Lanier, Jim Holt, and Ellen Ullman with special guest Baratunde Thurston. As producer, booker, and moderator, my goal with this series was to create a salon for discovery and debate; a place where talent can debut their newest and most daring ideas in front of curious audiences. The initiative was covered on CNBC, as well as TechCrunch, where I’ve served as a contributor.

As a speaker, my engagements have included moderating the Innovation in Politics panel at the W.IN Forum, participating in Provoke: The Holmes Report Global PR Summit, and curating and conducting conversations with a variety of notable authors. My latest op-ed was published by the World Economic Forum.

I graduated from The New School with a liberal arts degree in Culture and Media, and am based in New York and Los Angeles.
